Porsche, not known for running special offers in Australia, has announced finance deposit contributions of up to $10,000 across its new Macan Electric range.

The 2025 Porsche Macan Electric is now up to $10,000 more affordable in Australia with new finance offers available until the end of September.
Porsche Australia, which doesn't usually offer special deals on its vehicles, has announced a $5000 deposit contribution for eligible new, demonstrator and service loan Macan Electric models.
Accessible at most Porsche dealerships until September 30, 2025, a further deposit contribution of up to $5000 – totalling $10,000 – is also available when financing with Porsche Financial Services, depending on the variant.
The Macan Electric and Macan 4 Electric have a further $3000 contribution with a 36 to 48-month loan term with guaranteed future value, while $4000 is available for the Macan 4S Electric, and $5000 for the Macan Turbo Electric.
Deposit contributions are offered by many manufacturers, often only when financing with their in-house financial service providers, allowing for a sum of money to be contributed towards the deposit when applying for finance.
Launched in Australia in 2024, the Macan Electric has directly replaced the previous petrol-engined model locally, but the combustion version remains available in other markets, including the United States.
The electric version accounted for 40 per cent of all Porsche Macan sales in Australia between January and June 2025, with 584 sales to the petrol model's 895, totalling 1479 – four examples ahead (+0.3%) year-on-year, but down 20 per cent month-on-month.
Starting from $128,400 before on-road costs, the Macan Electric is $34,600 dearer than the most-affordable 2024 petrol model, while it tops out at $184,400 for the Macan Turbo Electric – $42,700 more than a 2024 Macan GTS.
Globally, Porsche has watered-down plans for 80 per cent of its sales in 2030 to be battery-electric vehicles, and confirmed it'll launch a new combustion-engined SUV likely to be positioned beneath the Macan and Cayenne "towards the end of the decade".
The new Macan shares its Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture with the Audi Q6 e-tron, which is available from $99,900 for the entry-level rear-wheel drive to $151,400 for the dual-motor all-wheel-drive SQ6 e-tron.
