To see the Formula One (F1) Australian Grand Prix 2026 in Melbourne, you will have to pay up to 24 per cent more than last time as ticket prices rise to new heights.

The most expensive grandstand seating option is the recently unveiled Piastri Grandstand.

You will need to fork out at least $1045 for a four-day pass to sit in the new stand, named after Melbourne’s hometown hero Oscar Piastri.

The cheapest grandstands are $565 for a four-day pass, these are the Button, Clark, Vettel, Waite, and Webber grandstands.

These cheaper grandstands are $40 to $80 more expensive than last year.

A $6895 three-day pass option is also available for those who wish to enjoy the Grand Prix from the comfort of the American Express Lounge.

This represents a saving of $100 compared to last year’s most expensive lounge option, the $6995 Red Bull Energy Station.

You can also opt for a day pass, which remains $45 for a general admission adult Park Pass for Thursday, March 5.

This is the cheapest option to see any action at the Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit in 2026.

Adult prices for Friday one-day passes remain $90, but prices for Saturday and Sunday have increased to $160 (up $30) and $210 (up $41), respectively, compared to this year.

If you intend to go for the weekend, you can save $120 and buy the four-day Park Pass for $385, a $76 increase from 2025.

The Park Pass allows general entry and does not include any reserved seating, so race goers will need to get in early and find their “favourite trackside viewing spot”.

The 2026 F1 Australian Grand Prix returns to Melbourne’s Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit from Thursday, March 5, until Sunday, March 8.

Tickets for next year’s event go on sale to the general public on September 10, 2025, but American Express Card Members will have an early-access opportunity during the Amex Pre-Sale event on September 3 at 12:00pm Australian time.
