Polestar has entered end-of-financial-year clearance mode, with free extras across the range and the potential to unlock up to $20,000 in savings on the Polestar 3 SUV.
The entire Polestar range, across Polestar 2, Polestar 3, and Polestar 4 models, is offered with additional equipment packs at no extra cost, or discounts equivalent to those packages for cars not fitted with them.
The Plus Pack equipment upgrade is included across the range, normally priced at $3900 for the Polestar 2, $9000 on the Polestar 3, and $8000 on the Polestar 4.
For cars not already equipped with the Plus Pack, the price will be discounted to the same value.
At the same time, Polestar 3 can upgrade from the Long Range Single Motor variant to the Long Range Dual Motor at no extra cost.
List pricing differences between the Single Motor and Dual Motor usually equate to $14,300 before on-road costs, but Polestar describes the combined value of the Dual Motor upgrade and included Plus Pack as having a value of up to $20,000.
A discount of up to $18,000 is also applied to the Polestar 3 Long Range Dual Motor with Performance Pack.
The free upgrades, or discount offers, apply to cars already configured and in stock, rather than new orders placed now.
As is the case with most clearance offers, the discount program is designed to clear existing stock, with buyers selecting from vehicles currently available.
In the case of the Polestar 2, the Plus Pack adds a panoramic sunroof, LED fog lights, ‘WeaveTech’ synthetic upholstery, interior ambient lighting, and electrically-adjustable front seats.
It also brings air quality monitoring for the climate control system, a power-operated tailgate with hands-free opening, and access to digital key services via a paired smartphone.
Adding the Plus Pack to a Polestar 4 brings upgrades such as matrix LED headlights, 12-way power-adjustable front seats, heated rear seats and steering wheel, power-reclining rear seats, a head-up display, hands-free tailgate, Harman Kardon audio, three-zone climate control, and more.
The Polestar 3 Plus Pack brings 21-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, soft-close doors, 25-speaker Bowers and Wilkins audio, MicroTech textile or wool-blend upholstery, power-adjustable steering column with memory, air quality monitoring, heated rear seats, steering wheel and windscreen wiper blades, and an infrared-filtering windscreen.
The SUV's Dual Motor Upgrade promo sees the rear-wheel-drive 220kW output boosted to all-wheel-drive with 360kW for the regular model and 380kW for Performance Pack versions.
Driving range ratings are impacted, dropping from 706km for the Single Motor to 636km for the Dual Motor and 567km for the Dual Motor Performance.
Regular pricing before discounts starts from $62,400 for the Polestar 2 Single Motor, $78,500 for the Polestar 4 Single Motor, and $116,754 for the Polestar 3 Single Motor, all before on-road costs.
With discounts applied to existing vehicles that may be equipped with other options, final on-road costs will vary depending on equipment and location. Polestar has a full range of available vehicles listed on its website.
End of financial year offers are in place for vehicles ordered from now until June 30, 2025 and delivered before July 31, 2025.
