Audi brings S line styling treatments to entry-level versions of the A1 hatch, Q2 SUV, Q3 SUV and Q3 Sportback.
Audi has introduced a range of S line Edition models as a limited edition package on base model versions of the A1, Q2, and Q3 model lines.
The A1 35 TFSI S line Edition builds on the standard equipment of the regular A1 35 TFSI but adds features like S line front and rear bumpers, side sills, and an S line rear spoiler.
Metallic paint and a black exterior styling package for the grille, mirror caps, roof, and front and rear bumper detailing are also included. Black Audi logo badges and the deletion of the 35 TFSI badge complete the look.
The interior of the A1 is upgraded with front sports seats, including lumbar adjustment. Fabric upholstery is standard, but leather trim is available as a $1500 option.
The A1 S line Edition includes 17-inch alloy wheels finished in black, adaptive LED headlights, and LED tail lights with dynamic indicators.
A Comfort package adding heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, and 30-colour LED ambient lighting is also available as a $1000 option.
Audi claims the S line Edition upgrades add $7000 of added value for $2600 over the regular A1 35 TFSI. The new model starts from $41,800 before on-road costs.
In the case of the Q2 35 TFSI S line Edition, upgrades include S line exterior styling and a choice of five metallic paint finishes, including Daytona Grey, offered for the first time on the Q2 35 TFSI (though previously offered on the 40 TFSI S line).
The black package on the Q2 covers the grille, trim strips around the front and rear bumper vents, C-pillar blade, window trims, mirror caps, and the Audi logos front and rear and Q2 tailgate badge..
The Q2 35 TFSI S line Edition also picks up 19-inch Y-spoke alloy wheels finished in black, and S line badging on the front guards.
Optional equipment for the Q2 35 TFSI S line Edition includes a Comfort package for $2150 with heated front seats, semi-automated park assist, an auto-dimming interior mirror, heated exterior mirrors, a 180-watt sound system, and rear privacy tint.
According to Audi, the S line Edition adds $7000 of value for $1500 extra. Pricing starts from $50,900 plus on-road costs for the Q2 35 TFSI S line Edition.
The Q3 S line Edition treatment is available on both the Q3 35 TFSI SUV and Q3 Sportback 35 TFSI.
Included as part of the special edition is $3500 of extra equipment on the Q3 Sportback and $5000 of extras on the Q3 SUV, both for $1000 more than the standard model.
The S line styling package comes as part of the upgrades on the Q3 35 TFSI SUV, and is already included on the Q3 Sportback.
Both Q3 models also gain 20-inch V-spoke alloy wheels, and include metallic and pearlescent paint finishes that were previously a cost option.
The black exterior pack for the S line Edition Q3 excludes the grille, but instead covers the roof rails for the SUV, and lower bumper elements on both models. Illuminated aluminium scuff plates with S logos are also included.
Pricing for the Q3 35 TFSI S line Edition starts from $58,500 plus on-road costs for the SUV and $62,000 for the Sportback.
