Land Rover has cut the Discovery Sport range down to two trim levels with a clear split between entry-level practicality and top-line luxury.

Land Rover has revamped the Discovery Sport range for the 2026 model year, reducing the range to just three variants across two trim levels, down from three trim levels previously.
The range now opens with the Discovery Sport Landmark, priced from $78,454 plus on-road costs with a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine, or $91,502 as a plug-in hybrid.
The Land Rover Discovery Sport Landmark features styling revisions, including a mountain range logo harking back to the graphics package featured on the 1989 Discovery – used on the sill plates, and as the puddle lamp illumination.
The Discovery Sport Landmark is equipped with a contrasting black roof, black roof rails, 19-inch alloy wheels (with 18 and 20-inch wheels optionally available), fixed panoramic sunroof, keyless entry and push-button start, and a powered tailgate.
Inside the Landmark is trimmed in ‘DuoLeather’ upholstery with five seats, including manual slide and recline for the second row as standard, and 12- and 10-way power adjustable seats for the driver and front passenger.
A seven-seat layout is optional with the Discovery Sport Landmark petrol, but not the hybrid.
Dual-zone climate control, a digital instrument display, 11.4-inch Pivi Pro infotainment with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless phone charger, ‘Click and Go’ media holders, auto-dimming interior mirror and 360-degree cameras are also standard.
The Discovery Sport Landmark P250 is powered by a carry over 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo petrol engine producing 184kW and 365Nm, paired with a nine-speed automatic and all-wheel drive.
The Landmark Plug-in Hybrid uses a lower-output petrol engine, but provides a combined 227kW, eight-speed automatic, and is rated for up to 66km (NEDC) of driving range.
The Land Rover Discovery Sport Metropolitan comes with 20-inch alloy wheels, matrix LED headlights, Windsor leather seats, 14-way power adjustable front seats, a driver’s head up display and a ClearSight interior mirror with rear camera feed.
Heated and cooled front seat and cabin purification are also included on the Metropolitan, but the model is restricted to only the P250 petrol engine and five-seat or seven-seat layouts are available.
Pricing for the Discover Sport Metropolitan starts from $91,955 plus on-road costs.
