Popular Australian accessory brand ARB has shown design concepts for items it'll offer to Kia Tasman customers, as first deliveries near.
Specialist four-wheel-drive accessory manufacturer ARB has hinted at the items it intends to offer for the 2025 Kia Tasman ute when it arrives in Australia.
Melbourne-based ARB – which offers accessories for most four-wheel-drive vehicles in Australia, and has a deal with Ford Australia to build more than 100 factory-backed Ranger and Everest items – has shared mock-ups of heavily accessorised Kia Tasmans on social media.
Included in one image is a tan beige Tasman with a black ARB 'Summit Mark II' steel bullbar – including LED daytime running lights and sequential indicators, underbody protection, and ARB-branded LED spotlights – matched with side rails and steps.
Another mock-up shows the Tasman with a range of alloy tray and canopy options, along with its new 'Zenith' bullbar design, and non-ARB accessories, including off-road tyres, aftermarket alloy wheels, mudflaps, and what appears to be roof rails from 4x4 accessory brand Adventure Kings.
ARB has not detailed when its accessories for the Kia Tasman will be available to order, or shown any real-world images, however it is likely to share more details after first customer deliveries of the Tasman commence in July.
Kia Australia has not outlined all the genuine accessories it intends to offer when the Tasman launches next month, but it showed a base S cab-chassis dual-cab with a black bullbar, an alloy tray, and a snorkel when the ute debuted in October.
A genuine accessory 'wishlist' on the brand's website indicates it will offer bullbar, canopy, side steps, sports bar, tonneau cover, roll shutter cover, snorkel, tow bar kit, roof rack, floor mat and rear window shade options for the Tasman in Australia.
In Korea, the Tasman is available with a range of Kia-designed accessories – including 'half-canopies' – but the items available to Australian customers at the showroom are likely to be tailored for our market.
The Tasman will launch in five dual-cab pick-up variants – S, SX, SX+, X-Line and X-Pro – priced between $42,990 before on-road costs for the two-wheel-drive S dual-cab automatic and 74,990 for the top-of-the-range X-Pro four-wheel drive.
Dual-cab-chassis and single-cab-chassis versions are expected to follow by the end of September.
