Polestar has released details for its 2026 Model Year Polestar 4 electric car, keeping prices for the two-model range unchanged, but reducing the cost of some optional equipment.

Price and specifications for the 2026 Polestar 4 have been announced, with the model featuring only minor running changes.
Polestar has kept pricing for the two-model range steady, with the Polestar 4 Long Range Single Motor starting from $78,500 and the Polestar 4 Long Range Single Motor from $88,350, both before on-road costs.
Standard equipment changes slightly, with physical buttons replacing touch controls on the steering wheel of the Polestar 4.
Minor equipment like an illuminated front Polestar logo, high-level interior illumination, and net pockets on the boot move from standard equipment to part of the option Plus Pack equipment bundle.
Polestar offers three optional equipment packages across the range.
The $8000 Plus Pack includes ‘Pixel LED’ headlights with adaptive high beam, hands-free tailgate operation, auto-dimming exterior mirrors, a 1200-Watt Harman Kardon audio system, 12-way powered sports seats, a control screen for rear seat passengers, power reclining rear seats, three-zone climate control, heated steering wheel, heated rear seats. and 22kW AC charging capability.
The $2500 Pro Pack adds 21-inch Pro alloy wheels with a black and diamond-cut finish, Swedish Gold valve caps, and black seatbelts with a Swedish Gold stripe.
The Performance Pack is available only on the Polestar 4 Dual Motor, and only in conjunction with the Plus Pack.
It adds 22-inch Performance alloy wheels with laser-etched surfacing, Active dampers with a Polestar Engineered chassis tune, Swedish Gold seatbelts and Swedish Gold four-pot Brembo front brake calipers.
The pricing of options, including the Bridge of Weir nappa leather upgrade and electrochromatic glass roof, has been reduced.
The leather option now costs $6100 for the Zinc colourway or $5700 for Charcoal, previously $7000. This pack can only be added in conjunction with the Plus Pack adds ventilated front seats with massage, rear comfort headrests, a brushed textile headlining, and Harman Kardon speakers in the front headrests.
The electrochromatic roof is now $2200, previously $2700.
Other optional equipment includes a fully electric retractable towbar ($3310), paint-matched lower cladding ($1400), and tinted privacy glass on rear side windows ($700).
Mechanically, the Polestar 4 is unchanged, with the Long Range Single Motor powered by a 200kW/343Nm rear electric motor and 94kWh battery enabling a 620km WLTP range rating.
Performance in unchanged, with a claimed 0-100km/h acceleration time of 7.1 seconds.
The Dual Motor Long Range uses a 200kW motor on each axle for all-wheel drive and a combined 400kW/686Nm, dropping he 0-100km/h claim to 3.8 seconds with a WLTP range rating of 590km.
