While the $2000 credit cannot be used to discount vehicles, it can be put towards accessories of the BYD Shark 6 ute and Sealion 7 EV.

BYD Australia is now running a promotion on its Shark 6 plug-in hybrid ute and Sealion 7 all-electric family SUV, throwing in a $2000 credit to spend towards accessories, merchandise, or pre-delivery vehicle protection.
Eligible for Shark 6 and Sealion 7 vehicles purchased until September 30 and delivered before October 31, the ‘$2000 Your Way’ promotion “must be redeemed at the time of vehicle order and cannot be exchanged for cash, a discount on vehicle price, or deferred for future use”, according to BYD’s terms and conditions.
However, this offer can be used in conjunction with the Shark 6 drive-away deal that is running concurrently, which saves buyers in all states barring the Northern Territory around $3000 thanks to a $59,400 drive-away figure.
BYD’s Sealion 7 is available in two grades – Premium and Performance – priced at $54,990 before on-road costs and $63,990 respectively.
Shark 6 customers can put the $2000 credit towards items like optional exterior paint, new alloy wheels, all-terrain tyres, bull bars, roof racks, cargo covers, and more.
The options available to the Sealion 7 are less extensive, but include different exterior paint hues, floor mats, and window tinting.
The credit can also be used towards Car Care, which is what BYD calls its interior and exterior protection package that includes an in-cabin treatment for the former and ceramic coating for the latter.
