Buyers not content with the initial choice of white, blue and black paint on the initial run of 2025 BYD Shark 6 utes now have two more colours to choose from.

Grey Mist will open for orders today as a new $700 option on the Shark 6, joining Outback Orange, which was added to the palette in recent months.

There are no other changes to the Shark 6 alongside the expanded paint range, which retains Great White as a no-cost choice, and Deep Sea Blue and Tidal Black as $700 'premium' finishes.

The Shark 6 Premium retains an RRP of $57,900 plus on-road costs, or about $61,000 to $64,000 drive-away, depending on the state of registration, and excluding premium paint charges.

It follows record sales of BYD's first ute in June 2025 – reporting 2993 deliveries – for more than 10,000 delivered year-to-date, having arrived in showrooms at the start of the year.
