Hyundai Australia has recalled 3445 cars across the 2025 Kona, Tucson, Sonata, Santa Fe, Ioniq 9, and Palisade models, citing a potential software issue with the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC).
The recall, lodged with the Department of Infrastructure, says: "Due to a software issue, the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) may fail to illuminate the visual vehicle speed, fuel level, and other critical safety information.
"A loss of safety system warnings whilst driving could increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to vehicle occupants, other road users, and bystanders."
