Hyundai has introduced drive-away prices across four of its electric-car models – the Elexio, Inster, Kona Electric, and Ioniq 5 – purchased and delivered by the end of May.

The entry-level Kona Electric Standard Range has received the most significant savings, now between $10,792 and $14,567 cheaper at an indicated $45,990 drive-away for new stock vehicles with no added options, claiming 370km of range from a 48.6kWh battery.

Adding the 64.8kWh Extended Range battery for 505km of claimed range ups the price to $50,990 drive-away, cutting between $9912 and $13,856 off the standard price, depending on the state of sale.

The Kona Electric with N Line Package is $10,792 to $13,116 cheaper, now available from $55,990 drive-away.

Meanwhile, the Kona Electric Premium is $60,990 for the standard version (down $10,212 to $14,506), or $64,990 for the Kona Electric Premium with N Line Package (down $9302 to $13,701).

Features added with the Premium grades include heated and ventilated seats, a 360-degree camera, Bose sound system, a sunroof, and automatic parking.

The larger Elexio is priced from $57,990 drive-away, between $3932 and $8026 cheaper than usual, depending on the state of registration.

Powering the Elexio is a single 160kW/310Nm electric motor driving the front wheels, paired to an 88.1kWh battery for a claimed 546km of range based on WLTP testing.

The pint-sized Inster Standard Range is available from $38,990 drive-away, which equates to savings between $2612 and $4892 on the regular price depending on the state of registration, but is $3000 more than in March.

It uses a 71kW/147Nm electric motor on the front axle, paired with a 42kWh battery for 327km of WLTP driving range.

Stepping up to the Ioniq 5 Elite, it is listed at $78,990 drive-away, $7658 to $10,650 cheaper than its standard price, with a 530km claimed range and additional features.

Deals are also available on the Ioniq 5 N Line Premium, which is $87,990 drive-away, a saving of $7569 to $12,828, depending on location. It uses the same 84kWh battery, but delivers a combined 239kW from its all-wheel-drive powertrain.
