Bugatti has revealed a new vehicle for buyers without the budget or garage space for one of its multi-million-dollar hypercars.

The catch: It's a bicycle, created in partnership with cycling brand Factor to create a Bugatti-themed version of the 'One' road bike.

It is not cheap for a bicycle, however, with only 250 examples to be produced, priced at $39,599 in Australia, almost the same price as a base-model Toyota Camry ($39,990 plus on-road costs).

Factor describes the One road bike as the fastest UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale) legal bike, the governing body in charge of international cycling.

It has been fitted with a wider front fork, claimed to reduce drag and increase front-end stability. Bugatti's versions use the same carbon-fibre frame as the standard version, but incorporate the unique weave found on its road cars.

It is fitted with front and rear carbon wheels, weighing less than 1.5kg together; its crankset is also made from the same material, while its seat is wrapped in Alcantara.

Its front and rear brakes have also received the carbon-fibre treatment, featuring carbon hats with steel discs.

The Bugatti Factor One is painted in the brand's signature French Racing Blue colour scheme, with the addition of a dancing elephant on the front, an emblem designed by Rembrandt Bugatti, the brother of founder Ettore.

Only 250 Bugatti Factor One road bikes will be made, each with a starting price of $39,599, before options are added. It is available now on Factor's website, costing $27,900 more than the standard One, which starts at $11,699.

It is still nowhere near the price of Factor's most expensive bicycle, the Hanzō Track Paris Edition, which was used by Australian athletes at the 2024 Summer Olympics and costs $101,599, slightly more than a Ford Ranger Super Duty.
