Plug-in hybrid versions of the 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander and 2025 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross have moved to national drive-away pricing in the brand's end-of-financial-year offers.

Until June 30, 2025, the Eclipse Cross PHEV is available from $47,990 drive-away for the ES to $56,900 for the Exceed – compared to their usual $47,790 to $56,490 before on-road costs, respectively – for private buyers.

The Outlander PHEV starts from $57,990 drive-away for the ES – $700 more than its usual RRP before on-road costs – and tops out at $74,490 for the GSR, which typically nears $80,000 drive-away without special offers.

Separate drive-away deals are also available for Australian Business Number (ABN) holders, but not government, rental and national fleet customers.

A BYD Sealion 6, the closest rival to the Outlander PHEV, is available from $42,990 before on-road costs – or around $45,000 drive-away – while the Mazda CX-60 PHEV starts from $63,290 before on-road costs.

A facelifted version of the Outlander PHEV is due to launch in Australia by October with a larger 22.7kWh battery pack to deliver an improved electric-only driving range closer to 100 kilometres.

Other upgrades will include a different 20-inch alloy wheel design, clear LED tail-light lenses, a new Moonstone Grey colour, a larger 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, ventilated front seats, a digital rear-view mirror, 'brick brown' leather upholstery, and new Yamaha audio systems.

The PHEV is expected to feature Mitsubishi Connect telematics, which is debuting first in Australia in the facelifted petrol Outlander in LS grades and above.

Mitsubishi Australia is also offering a $2500 gift card for petrol Outlander variants – including the soon-to-launch Model Year 2025 facelift – and a $3000 gift card for the Triton and Pajero Sport.

Offers are not available for the current-generation Eclipse Cross petrol and the ASX, which have ended production for Australia as they do not meet the Australian Design Rule 98/00 for the standard fitment of car-to-car AEB in force since March 1, 2025.
